Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Baseline on Android, iOS, and the web (“Baseline”, “the app”, “we”, “us”). Baseline is operated by TheMkHouse. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Baseline.
Who may use Baseline
Baseline is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
The service
Baseline provides personal life intelligence: pillar scores, trends, journal features, optional integrations, and AI-assisted insights. Features may change as we improve the product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that scores or insights will meet a particular outcome.
Not medical, financial, or professional advice
Baseline is for personal awareness and reflection only. Scores, insights, and Baseline AI replies are not medical diagnosis, treatment, investment advice, legal advice, or professional counselling. Always consult qualified professionals for health, money, or career decisions.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of journal entries and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate and improve Baseline, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with our systems
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service except as allowed by law
- Use Baseline to harm others or violate applicable law
- Upload malware or attempt to bypass security or rate limits
Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed through the payment provider shown in the app (for example Razorpay in India). Prices, billing periods, and renewal terms are displayed before you purchase. Refunds follow the provider’s and applicable store policies unless we state otherwise. You can manage or cancel according to the controls shown in-app or via your payment method.
Third-party services
Optional integrations (health platforms, calendar, music, finance, and others) are provided by third parties under their own terms. Connecting an integration means you authorise us to access data they make available for the features you enable. We are not responsible for those services’ availability or policies.
Intellectual property
Baseline’s software, branding, design, and documentation are owned by TheMkHouse or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Open-source components used in the app are listed under License and remain under their respective licences.
Disclaimer of warranties
Baseline is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not allowed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Baseline. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Baseline in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you use a free plan).
Termination
You may stop using Baseline and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users or our systems, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product or law changes. Material updates will be reflected in the app and on our website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
